Lviv region: The State Migration Service has restored the operation of systems, but in four branches, passports are not being issued.
In the Lviv region, the information system of the State Migration Service has been restored, and in most departments, passport services are being provided as usual. However, in four departments in the region, due to technical problems and a lack of stable internet, the reception of citizens and the issuance of passport documents are temporarily not possible. Existing entries in the online queue remain valid, and there is no need to re-register.
In the Lviv region, the information and telecommunication systems of the State Migration Service have been restored. In most territorial departments of the region, passport services are being provided in normal mode, according to the Western Interregional Directorate of the State Migration Service.
At the same time, in four territorial departments, citizen service is temporarily unavailable due to technical problems and a lack of stable internet connection: passport documents are not being processed or issued there. The list of these departments is not included in the announcement.
The migration service emphasized that entries in the online queue that fall during periods of technical work or when the service is unable to process citizens will remain valid – there is no need to re-register.
Problems with passport processing arose on September 28 due to a malfunction of the communication channel operator's equipment. As a result, the State Migration Service temporarily lost full access to some necessary information systems.
