A stolen Audi from Sweden was found in Shehyni
The driver of the vehicle was a 35-year-old resident of Ternopil Oblast, who was traveling to Poland. The vehicle was seized and handed over to the National Police.
At the Shehyni border crossing in the Lviv region, border guards discovered an Audi 2020 model, stolen from Sweden. This was reported on Monday, October 26, by the 7 border guard unit of the Carpathian Guard.
The vehicle was being driven to Poland by a 35-year-old resident of Ternopil Oblast. During the document check, it was discovered that the vehicle was being sought by Interpol.
The Audi was added to the database of stolen vehicles in May 2026. It is being searched for by Swedish law enforcement. According to border guards, the vehicle entered Ukraine several months before the international search was announced.
The vehicle was seized and handed over to employees of the National Police.
