In Lviv, the social center where children are sheltering cannot be inspected.

The Lviv city council has appealed to the Lviv regional council to address the issue of providing shelter at the "Center for Social Support of Children and Families" on Levandivska Street, 17-B. The shelter is not officially registered, which makes it impossible for the State Emergency Service to inspect it.

The Lviv city council is requesting the Lviv regional council to ensure proper provision of shelter at the "Center for Social Support of Children and Families" located at 17-B Levandivsky Street.

The appeal was prepared by council member Petro Adamik after he was contacted by Viktor Pydlysyn, who inquired about registering a shelter and ensuring its proper condition.

According to information, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that it cannot conduct an inspection of the shelter because it is not registered. Petro Adamyk emphasized that the facility is constantly occupied by children and staff, and their safety during air raid alerts must be ensured properly. The lack of the shelter being registered and the inability to conduct an inspection complicate the assessment of the actual condition of the premises and the determination of measures necessary to ensure the safety of people.

The deputy refers to part five of article 32 of the Code of Civil Defense of Ukraine and points 16 and 21 of the Procedure for the Creation and Maintenance of the Fund of Civil Defense Facilities. He noted that the inclusion of the simplest shelter in the fund of civil defense facilities is carried out by local authorities based on an inspection report. Since the Center is a municipal institution of the Lviv regional council, the decision on this matter falls within their authority.
