In Lviv, the renovation of the square on Heroiv UPA Street, 76, is ongoing. This was announced by the Department of Natural Resources and Construction of the Lviv city council.
The contractor has already started preparatory work, delivered construction materials, and poured the concrete foundation for the future sports field. They plan to begin installing pedestrian paths next week.
The "Green Lviv" municipal enterprise reported that before the start of work in the park area, dangerous trees were removed: four were completely rotten, and two were dying. Instead, the area is planned to be planted with linden trees, 30 lilac bushes, and various perennial plants – miscanthus, catmint, ivy, and grapes.
The work is being carried out on behalf of the state-owned enterprise "Bodnarivka," which is the property manager of the park. Several years ago, the area was transformed into a park at the request of residents, in order to protect the territory from potential development. The reconstruction project was funded by an investor, and its implementation will be covered by the city budget.
