In Lviv, on Freedom Avenue, a pedestrian was injured after colliding with the "Truth" sculpture, which was installed a few days ago. The man hit the structure's projection, not noticing it in the dark. Deputy Mayor Irina Kulinich said that the sculpture will be moved to a different location at the initiative of the author.
In Lviv, on Freedom Avenue, on November 5, a pedestrian received a head injury after colliding with the "Truth" sculpture. This was reported by the victim's lawyer, Oleg Mytsyk.
According to the lawyer, the 57-year-old man was returning from work and collided with the sculpture's projection in the dark. He did not notice the obstacle due to the lack of lighting for the structure. As a result of the impact, the man needed medical assistance and received several stitches on his head.
Lawyer Oleg Mytsyk believes that the location of the sculpture may contradict safety regulations. He emphasized that he does not assess the artistic value of the object, but has questions about the place where it was installed and the responsibility of the people who made this decision.
Irina Kulynich, deputy mayor of Lviv, responsible for humanitarian issues, informed the lawyer that the sculpture would be moved to a different, safer location at the initiative of the artist. The injured party has no material claims against the city.
