Today, at 22:08, in the Zolochiv and Sheptytsky districts of the Lviv region, an air raid alert was announced. This was reported by the Lviv Regional State Administration (LOVA) Center for Emergency Situations.
According to reports, an air raid alert was issued due to the threat of attacks by enemy drones. Residents are urged to follow safety rules during air raid alerts and to seek shelter in the nearest safe place.
The Alert Center of the LОВА reminded that the sound of the siren is only a call for attention, and after it, a message about the threat is given. According to protocols, the siren is activated in eight cases, including air raid alerts and the end of an air raid alert. When the sirens sound, it is necessary to turn on radio or television or open the official websites of the local authorities to get information about what to do.
Shelters can be left after the alarm sounds and after the announcement of the end of the air raid alert. In the Lviv region, there are several types of shelters, including storage facilities, radiation shelters, and simpler ones (basements, parking lots, etc.). In Lviv, an interactive map of shelters has been created for residents of the municipal territorial community.
