Olena Mazurik is no longer the director of Stryi Park in Lviv. This was announced by the Department of Ecology of the Lviv City Council on November 5.
Olena Mazurik led Stryy Park for nine years. According to the survey "Lviv Parks: How have they changed?", conducted by the Department of Ecology, the park under her leadership consistently held the top position among the most visited parks in the city and those that were best maintained for several years in a row.
Stryy Park is the most popular park in Lviv. A study of park visitors' needs was conducted previously, which formed the basis for a development vision. This vision includes the reconstruction of the central promenade, the restoration of the underground restroom, and the inclusion of the park in a single green ring around Lviv.
