Bus in Lviv region kills cyclist
In the village of Nakonechnoe Перше, in the Яворів district of Lviv region, a bus, an Automet Apollo, killed a 77-year-old cyclist. Despite the efforts of doctors, the man died in the hospital. The police have opened a criminal case.
In the evening of October 17, a fatal traffic accident occurred in the Яворів district. Around 18:20, in the village of Nakonechnoe Перше, a bus, an Automet Apollo, driven by a 37-year-old resident of the district, collided with a bicycle driven by a 77-year-old man.
As a result of the collision, the elderly cyclist sustained injuries and was hospitalized. However, despite the efforts of doctors, he died in the hospital.
Investigators have opened a criminal case for violation of traffic rules or transport operation rules, according to Article 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Currently, law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
