At the "Medyka - Shehyni" border crossing, a Ukrainian citizen offered a Polish border guard 100 zlotys in exchange for avoiding a check of the excessively tinted windows in her car. The woman was detained and taken to the prosecutor's office.
On October 28, at the "Medyka - Shehyni" border crossing, during entry into Poland, a border guard discovered that the windows in a Renault car with Ukrainian license plates were tinted beyond the permitted limits, as confirmed by a special device.
After learning that the car would not be allowed into Poland due to its technical condition, one of the passengers offered the Polish border guard 100 zlotys as a bribe.
The woman was detained and taken to the prosecutor's office, where she was charged. The fate of the detainee will be decided by the court. After the inspection, the car and its passengers were returned to Ukraine. This was reported by the Border Guard's press service.
