Lviv received 200,000 tulip bulbs from the Netherlands. The city will be decorated with new and unique varieties of flowers this spring, which will be planted in areas, parks, schools, hospitals, and social centers, as well as in communities within the Lviv agglomeration.

Lviv received 200,000 tulip bulbs from the Netherlands. This is the fifth shipment of flowers from Dutch farmers.

Oksana Lutsko, Deputy Head of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Lviv City Council, announced that the city received new and unique varieties of tulips this year.

The bulbs will be distributed among the districts of the city, parks, schools, hospitals, and social centers, as well as communities within the Lviv agglomeration. The Department of Ecology has prepared a list of needs, which will be used in conjunction with the heads of the institutions to determine the required number of bulbs and their colors for each location.

Last spring, over 30 varieties of tulips bloomed in Lviv, with almost 200,000 flowers in total. Some of these remain in the ground over the winter, while others are dug up after flowering and replanted in the fall. In addition to tulips, the city was also decorated with approximately 10,000 Dutch lilies during the summer.
